I'm not very knowledgable about 5E rules and the like, but my biggest gripe is that Mage Hand is a targettable entity by the enemy. Often when I try to use it (say I want to push someone off a ledge), it might be several turns until it is the Mage Hand's turn to do something, by which time it has usually just been killed since it has 3HP - thus I just wasted my caster's turn casting it.Mage hand acts as a summoned creature. It has health, and basically gives your party an extra action in combat, which is pretty powerful.
