Ex FedEx employee here as of January 2022, I live in a smaller market about 45 min NW of the states capital, and starting at the end of 2020 we went to 7 day delivery weeks. As far as I know now, with the exception of the smallest and least populated parts of the country, every FedEx hub now runs 7 days a week.The last thing I sent Steam was the tracking after the 8th business day that still showed pending, and another tracking for a FedEx delivery on the same day proving I never got it on the last day they told me it would arrive. Just gotta have your tracking number & a ID to receive it, and the location you pick can hold it for 7 days. just go to FedEx's website for instructions. Steam does know when a stolen Deck is activated however.There might be some sort of serial number, but I don't see how it would be remotely read. The only number that would be unique to OP's individual Steam Deck is MAC address but those are a) not guaranteed to be unique b) easily changed.
